LVCCM is governed by a local secretariat, which acts much like a board of directors, but also has characteristics of a cabinet, in that each secretariat member has specific responsibilities. These are volunteer positions; new members are chosen by the existing secretariat from active community members and serve 3-year terms. Current members of the secretariat and their areas of responsibility are listed below.

Spiritual Director
Pastor Bob Allmann
The Spiritual Director serves as the "pastor" of the LVCCM movement, offering guidance and direction from a clergy perspective and is the chief liaison with other clergy and denominational officials.

Lay Director
Brian Pickelman
The Lay Director plans and coordinates the workings of the LVCCM Secretariat and provides leadership to the LVCCM community.

Vice President

The Vice President chairs Secretariat meetings in Lay Director's absence, in addition to other projects as assigned. This position oversees continual development and documentation of the roles and responsibilities of all Secretariat members, as well as publishes community songbooks.

Leaders Chair

The Leaders Chair oversees training of the cook trainer, the head server trainer, and the rollo critiquers. This position also keeps manuals current and presents at the post-weekend Ultreya on behalf of Secretariat regarding how to be involved in Via de Cristo.

Preweekend Chair
Angie Wood
The Preweekend Chair promotes effective sponsorship, makes applications available and processes applications for attendance at an LVCCM weekend. This position oversees weekend table assignments and provides a numbering system to keep track of candidate's luggage, bedding, and sleeping areas.

Postweekend Chair

The Post Weekend Chair develops, coordinates, and promotes Via de Cristo activities aimed at encouraging and supporting the continued spiritual growth of all cursillistas during their fourth day. This position strengthens and supports reunion grouping and ultreyas.

The Palanca Chair leads LVCCM in the use of palanca according to the Cursillo method and palanca exchange between LVCCM and other Via de Cristo centers and similar communities (e.g. Cursillo, Walk to Emmaus, Chrysalis, Tres Dias, Kairos, Keryx, etc.)

Information Chair

The Information Chair collects, organizes, and reports membership information to LVCCM Secretariat and designees that will improve the effectiveness of LVCCM. This position manages member's personal information (address, phone, email, church), information updating efforts, and weekend serving history.

Facilities Chair
The Facilities Chair arranges for weekend sites, stores, maintains, transports, unloads, and loads equipment and supplies used on weekends, maintains the Via de Cristo trailer, and oversees general set-up and tear-down of the site.
