- Mar 31
- 2 min read
Keryx teams are wrapping up their team meetings and getting ready to go into the facilities this month and into the summer. Pray for unity on the teams and pray that each candidate's heart would be good soil to receive the good news of the gospel. Here is a listing of the weekends starting in April and throughout the summer.
April 16th - 19th Saginaw Correctional Facility (Men's)
April 23rd - 26th Chippewa Correctional Facility (Men's)
April 23rd - 26th Central Michigan Correctional Facility (Men's)
April 30th - May 3rd Thumb Correctional Facility (Men's)
May 21st - 24th Alger Correctional Facility (Men's)
July 22nd - 25th Huron Valley Correctional Facility (Women's)
Continue to pray for a partnership between local Keryx councils and the prison administration in scheduling weekends for the fall of 2026.
I pray that administration throughout the state would continue to see the need for Jesus in their facilities and that they would be willing to work together to build a healthy Christian environment in their facility.
One of the purposes of Keryx is to build and strengthen healthy Christian environments in each of the prisons that we have weekends. Let's pray for the Spiritual health of each of these environments.
Recently, the administration of the Macomb County Correctional Facility has contacted Keryx for the purpose of having weekends in their facility. This facility has never had a Keryx weekend. In this process, pray that God would build a healthy working relationship between the local Keryx council and this prison administration.
Here is a listing of the 11 facilities that there is a Keryx Community already established.
Alger Correctional Facility
Bellamy Creek Correctional Facility
Carson City Correctional Facility
Central Michigan Correctional Facility
Chippewa Correctional Facility
Huron Valley Correctional Facility
Ionia Correctional Facility
Marquette Branch Prison
Newberry Correctional Facility
Saginaw Correctional Facility
Thumb Correctional Facility
Thank you for your faithfulness to pray
