May 2025 Ultreya Updates

TRI-CITIES ULTREYA UPDATE

Our May Ultreya was held Friday, May 23rd at Midland Reformed Church in Midland. There were 70 in attendance, and we were blessed with quite a few Weekend #100 cursillistas! Kathy Rollwagen was our 4th day speaker, emphasizing the importance of reunion groups and Ultreyas, as well as reaching out to others, as Jesus did.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 says "Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up." The discussion questions were:

1. How has community helped you?

2. How have you helped community?

3. How do you plan to be community for others?

The June Ultreya will be held June 20th at Memorial Presbyterian Church in Midland. Ron Schmidt will be the 4th day speaker.

SOUTHEAST MI ULTREYA UPDATE The Southeast Ultreya was held on May 9, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church in Monroe MI. There were 26 brothers and sisters in Christ in attendance, with five attending an Ultreya for the first time! 

Our Fourth Day speaker was Jon Bunge. He shared his Fourth Day journey and asked us to discuss "When did you ever ask God for something, and he provided your answer in a way that resulted in more than you expected?" 

We had a fine evening of singing, praise, prayer, fellowship and food. Our next SE MI Ultreya will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 630 North Monroe Street, Monroe, MI 48162 on June 13, 2025, with a Fourth Day speaker to be announced.
