Ultreya was held April 21st at Peace Lutheran Church in Saginaw, with 54 people in attendance, including 5 from weekend #96. Annette Ripper was our 4th day speaker and her topic was “Fellowship”. Annette reminded us that when we are in the world, we get knocked down and weakened, but God strengthens us and gives us encouragement through fellowship (Hebrews 10:24-25). Each of us has a purpose. We are one body and all of us are needed (Romans 12:4-6). Our group questions were:
Are you comfortable sharing your faith and needs with your brothers and sisters in Christ?
What can you do to become more active in your Christian Community?
We are looking forward to seeing you at our next Ultreya on May 19th at St. John's Lutheran Church in Midland. Our 4th day speaker will be Susan Long.
God Loves You and So Do We, Kristin Boetefuer and Jean Barta
Hebrews 10:24-25: And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
Romans 12:4-6: For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith
