Welcome, Weekend #98 Cursillistas!
Weekend #99 Update
Weekend #99 planning is underway! Both weekends will be held at Floyd Church of God (1015 W. Chippewa River Rd, Midland, MI 48640). Men's weekend is 9/26-9/29 and Women's is 10/3-10/6. Below are links to take you to the respective weekend pages on LVCCM's website.
Pastor Bob Update
Most have heard that Pastor Bob was in the hospital this past month, and was unable to serve on Weekend #98 teams, as scheduled. He is feeling better and getting stronger every day. If you would like to send him a card/letter, please mail them to Peace Lutheran Church, 1401 M-68, Rogers City, MI 49779, Attn: Pastor Bob Allmann. Please continue to pray for Pastor Bob's healing.
Interest In Participating
In an effort to gauge interest from LVCCM Community in serving on future weekends, Secretariat created a survey that is sent out to new cursillistas after a weekend, and is also sent annually to all LVCCM Community. If you have never filled out the survey, click here to do so. If you have completed the survey, but your interest has changed, please feel free to complete the survey again.

Hey, bud!
Why is the strawberry sad?
His mom was in a jam!
What flower does everyone have on their face?
Two-lips!
What falls but never gets hurt?
The rain
Does February like March?
No, but April May
Why is Yoda such a good gardener?
He has a green thumb!
How do you announce to someone that winter is coming to an end?
You spring it on them!
Why is April so clean?
Because it always showers
It's allergy season again?!
You've got to be pollen my leg!
Why are frogs so happy?
They eat whatever bugs them!

Keryx Ultreyas
Keryx is a Michigan prison ministry, a weekend similar to LVCCM, but designed for prisons. If you are interested in prison ministry, a good place to start would be to come to the monthly Ultreyas at the Saginaw Correctional Facility, a men's facility in Freeland. The Ultreyas are held in the prison the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00pm. Both men and women from the LVCCM community can attend these Ultreyas.
In order to enter the prison as a volunteer, you need to be LEIN cleared and take a 2-hour volunteer training from the Chaplain. A LEIN is a background check to make sure you are eligible to enter the prison.
If you are interested, please make your request to Dave Ziettlow. He will need your completed LEIN Clearance Form. Fill it out, print and sign, then scan the signed form and email to Dave at dave.ziettlow@gmail.com. You can also mail the form to Dave or call him at 989-600-8771 with any questions. Once cleared, a training session will be scheduled with the chaplain, and you will be notified of the time and place.
Ultreya Invitations & Updates!
this will be a combined Ultreya, held in Monroe!
